Well, it does, but the problem is that neither OS X, nor the Lisa run a BBS, or such. So there should be some setting about an automatic Line Feed after a Carriage Return. Line Feed is Control-J. You might want to also turn on autoecho or such if you're going terminal to terminal.

So how did you setup your serial port on OS X? Are you running a terminal program there, or did you launch a getty/login program on OS X? (Sorry, I don't know how to do that on OS X, which is sort of why I asked. :-) - ok, ok, I'll just go and google it, I'm sure it's as easy as under FreeBSD.

If you do the latter, you'll get a shell and you can run stuff on OS X from the Lisa. If you compile lrzsz on OS X, or equivalent, you can send stuff across using Zmodem.
