My newly acquired Mac XL had the batteries still in it...
It seems to boot fine, and works, but after reading some of the
material you guys sent me I removed the battery pack.
The picture link below shows that maybe three of the the circuit board traces have been eaten away from the battery leakage.
Are these traces critical, or does anyone know what they go to?
It appears that R45 and C6 are affected as well as a trace leading
under 1489?
Maybe some green gunk on R45 as well...
I guess I need to wash it down with some vinegar and then 99% isopropal and let it dry first...
