the PPC 4400 will be the best machine to do transfers. I use a very similar one (a performa 6300CD). You need all correct tools on this mac (stuffit, disccopy 4.2). You can transfer with 1.44 Mb PC discs or CD. Also, HFV explorer may help (if you download files on a PC).
