If you get all the right noises, ie a click at powerup and 2 or 3 beeps (Can't remember which) but you can't hear the screen powerup you've probably got the same problem as I had - a dead video card. Does it have a 1.2A or 1.8A PSU? Not that it's worth me asking since I can't afford another Lisa ATM and shipping from (I guess) the US would be an arm and a leg!
