Dead Lisas

Hi Everyone, i'm new to the lisalist. I recently recieved 2 lisas as a gift from a relative. One i think is a 2/10, and supposedly has a bad monitor, and one i think is a lisa 1. Ok. the 2/10 (supposedly with the good power supply), had bad pots (brightness and contrast) in it. i de soldered the good pots from a partly BLACK power supply (i wonder if it was burned to a crisp or just got hot) and put them into the supposedly good supply. Now whenever i try to turn the lisas on (both of them with the same supply), i hear a kind of clicking noise, like they are trying to run, but nothing happens. NOw what? should i try the other supply? or is it something else. please e-mail me at
