That CR20 diode was broke... replaceing it made things go a litle better... we blew U1 on the video board. Replaced that.. and the machine fired up! Hard disk throws an 81 error.. but I'll deal with that latter.

The main problem is that the voltages still aren't quite right. The +300v from the flyback transformer is only coming out at +210v, and the +33v from the PSU is coming out at +54v (!). This was under load... both memory cards and the hard disk.

We need to get the PSU to run outside the comtpuer. We tried shorting pin 20 to pin X, but that didn't do it... only the +5v standby came up.

What's the proper way to get the power supply to come on fully at the bench?
