that have been the correct two PINs. It should work. I never saw a Lisa, where this kind of "Drive-support" didn't work. Lisa 2 or Mac XL, doesn't matter - it should work.
So the only conclusion is after testing it with a second manipulated drive, that your I/O Board or your motherboard could bee corred or has some broken wires on the board
