[lisa] Why are these cut?

I have two I/O boards for my lisa. One is a spare incase the other one dies. I was looking at the spare the other day and I noticed a few strange things.
Two traces and a resistor have been cut. This cut resistor is not actually present on my other board. The board with the cut traces seems to work perfectly fine however. But I am curious, anyone know why this has been done?
