Hi Stuart,

seems to be a corrupted video-ROM in the CPU-Board. Or arround the video-ROM :-)
What you see is the "normal" grey boot screen of a Lisa, which has a white bar on top (looks like the menue bar but without text); a not-perfect-working video-ROM can lead to such patterns... ...perhaps you swap the whole CPU-Board - to figure this out by try and error
