This all would've been a lot less silly with a couple Zip drives in the loop, but it worked and was sorta fun.
Incidentally, I couldn't seem to get anywhere with Disk Copy 4.2 and the DART-based image (DC 4.2 just wouldn't open it, but I thought I read that it could. And while Disk Copy 6.x appeared to be able to read it and make/verify a floppy, that floppy failed on the Lisa. Others on this list (Ray? etc.) have warned of this, and I have now confirmed it! ;)
