There are no Lisa OS drivers for the SCSI card, so it works solely with MacWorks Plus, and MacWorks Plus II. In those environments it works much like the MacPlus SCSI port, and can be used for hard disks, CD-ROM drives, scanners, etc.

The QuickBoot kit allows one to boot from the SCSI card (it adds that option to the "Startup from" menu). However that might be considered more of a convenience than a necessity.

Without QuickBoot, each time you start up, you must load MacWorks Plus/II from either a floppy disk or a parallel port drive (Widget, ProFile, Sun20, IDEfile, X/ProFile, etc.).
