These two Twiggy image files comprise what purports to be some kind of Basic for the workshop.

The second disk had some bad sectors which were repaired ( per https://lisalist2.com/index.php/topic,558.msg3940.html )

The disks seem to work, but are not thoroughly tested.

edit: "2of2_revised" has the volume name changed from ...BASIC.0 to BASIC.1, and per Claunia's email of August 3, 2016, the volume ID (at 0x52AC.long) has been increased to make the two disks different. Apologies for my sloppiness in implementing Claunia's recommendations... not their fault.

I decided to give it a try in LisaEm.

Disk 1 worked great, but disk 2 had problems:
- LisaEm gives a warning that both the tag checksum and data checksum in the dc42 header do not match the checksums of the actual tags and data in the image file;
- The disk volume is named "A5Workshop.BASIC.0", but it should be named "A5Workshop.BASIC.1".

As a result, the Workshop installation refused to proceed.
The 2nd screenshot shows that the bad disk 2 (in LOWER disk drive) had different number of files form the disk 1 (in UPPER disk drive).

So I used hexedit to find and fix the volume name pf Disk 2 to be "A5Workshop.BASIC.1", and then retried the installation, and it it installed fine this time.

I expected it would install nicely along Pascal (as I had Pascal Workshop installed before adding Basic Workshop), but now the Pascal compiler gives an error: "Error number 141, Running --PARAPORT-PASCAL.OBJ , Error accessing a library file while loading program.". The file "Pascal.obj" is still there, but it seems that some pascal library files have been deleted. Not a big deal, just strange.

If anyone wants to try the attached profile ".image" file: It will boot directly into LOS 1.0. To boot into BasicWorkshop, you will have to restart and press any key during boot, to display the "environment selection" dialog, and from there choose to booth into Workshop.  If using LisaEm, choose IOROM=40 in the preferences dialog, which unlocks support for Twiggies. My Lisa serial number (in LisaEm preferences is "ff000000000000ff0000000000000000"). Use that in case you run into copyright protection errors.

In addition to fixing the volume name, apparently the volume ID ought to be different; I've re-uploaded as "TwiggyWorkshopBasic2of2_revised" with those two changes. Perhaps this would help with the PASCAL.OBJ problem... dunno.

I didn't fix the DC42 checksums. LMK if that's required.

If you select the image on ESFloppy and then eject (either force or regular eject) it again, that'll update the DC42 checksums for you. You could also just write a standalone program to do it, but if you want a quick/simple solution, this is a way to do it.

Fun/unrelated fact: Floppy Emu isn't fast enough to recompute the checksums in a reasonable amount of time when it closes an image, so you'll discover that both the data and tag checksums are always set to 0 on any images that have been used on one.
