Also, before immersion, remove all socketed chips, being sure to remember where they go. Be careful not to bend any of the legs. And yes, you'll want to rinse the board off after immersion before drying. In my last post, I mentioned the acid should be neutralized. This was a typo, the alkaline should be neutralized; the acid does the neutralizing.
