for now, my guess is that Uniplus may use the Baud Rate generator of the SCC as it's time generator.
A trace indicates that this register is set in the SCC just before hanging.
I now have to check if the SCC can issue INT in this mode. The state while hanging seems more an active wait than a crash due to corrupted data.
Also, I'll check if this is not another VIA timer related issue as it was for Xenix hang.
