For what it's worth:
From the Lisa DIY manual: "Preliminary memory test ... If there's a
problem with the
first 2K, the speaker beeps twice and the computer hangs with a
random display on
the screen. This indicates a problem with the memory card in slot
1...."
It doesn't explain the third beep, though. Not sure it applies.
I can't seem to find any reference to a third beep. Maybe someone
else on the
list knows?

well some good news I was examining the cpu board and decided to switch the two 2333's that are directly under the processor with the other cpu board. One I took off and it had two bent in pins "who knows why" anyway I put the other chips in and now I get 3 beeps two high and one low. I still do not get a picture but I will mess with the monitor controls and see what I get. I think it was lucky I found that the one looked a bit beat up so I was not sure it was working.
