I got my lisa parts by parts from VintageMicro, Of course it was a bit more expansive than a complete system on ebay... but... It was also much less risky.
To come back to the subject, a PIC based USB to lisa and/or lisa to USB keyboard converter is an interesting project. Keyboard protocol is well documented. Mouse is not really a problem since early mac mouse copy can be found for less than 20$.
