You need the Lisa Workshop development system and its documentation. Ray's web site has all of these I believe.
You would need to write your Lisa program in Lisa Pascal since that was the key language for the Lisa. Lisa BASIC and Lisa C existed, but Pascal was designed to interface to Apple's libraries. The Workshop was setup to produce programs for the Workshop environment which ment a text interface. You could also use the QuickDraw library to create a graphical interface (see Apple's QDSample or David Redhed's QD demo program for details). Using the Workshop by itself to create a Lisa desktop program required the Lisa Toolkit and Clascal which involved a lot more work, but obviously better results. Not sure if the Toolkit and Clascal documents are on the internet, I have these as paper copies.
