Re: How to backup X-profile & IDEfile compact flash cards

in diskimage you can handle the whole disk or the partitions. An Xprofile as only a minimal partition (that helps window not to format it immediatly) then raw data out of partition table. What is the size of your raw copy? and what is the capacity of your CF? it should be nearly the same...

You may also try testdisk tool to do the backup.
