Thank you for the quick responses, thank you very much for more information about the COP421, The COP421 has correct voltage on pin 9 and I already tested with the oscilloscope the presence of the oscillator signal and it is there but unfortunately no ON signal on pin 24. The only thing I have not checked yet is pin 4 (reset)

The processor board is intact, connector is as new.

The connector on the I/O board looks also good, it is possible the I/O connector on the motherboard is damaged, I have to check this once more.

What do you mean by: "Note that the COP will only turn on the power... if the power is
already on" ?
