Lisa 1 - 2/5 Drive Cage Connections

Question about the connections on the Lisa 1 & 2/5:

I see there are the 2 cables for the 2 Twiggy drives. For the 2/5 only the lower one is used. If one added a 2nd Lite adapter, could a 2nd 400k drive be hooked up? I suppose the ROMs would need to be modified to support this?

There's also a small power harness connection. Was this used for anything?
>From the pictures I've seen the Twiggy drives got their power from the data
cable like the Sony.
