Ok, method confirmed

DART images for xenix in a zip file here; http://blog.boreas.ro/2007/12/xenix-blast-from-past-looking-back-at.html (link dead, use the wayback Machine).

Zip was dezipped on an emulated Mac II
Installed Shrinkwrap + Stuffit Deluxe 4.01 (needed by shrinkwrap to handle images).

/home/gilles/mac/XEN_BOOT.dc42 format byte @0x51: 12

This (vintage) method is valid to transfer DART, tags are preserved.
