Some X/Lisas have a different locking scheme for the mouse connector (a flexible clip rather than screws).

Other than this, the X/Lisa, 128, 512k & Plus mice (and compatible third party trackballs, etc.) are functionally interchangeable.

If you get a mouse with the other kind of connector lock, the pinout is the same, you just have to work-around the latch problem.
