It is possible to boot MW+II on a Lisa without a PFG, but it is then limited to older versions of the Mac system software and IIRC, there are various other restrictions.
There are two MW+II floppy disks, one is a 400k Lisa Boot disk, the other is an 800k Mac disk.
After a cold boot, you will need to "startup from" the 400k Lisa Boot disk. If you are using the other disk, it will not be recognized and thus rejected. If Lisa is rejecting the 400K Lisa Boot disk, then the disk or the drive may be damaged.
