yea, i did take the drive out and cleaned the heads with ISO (not rubbing alcohol) and i noticed something. looks like the head is bent up, not sure it's making a good connection. will try to bend down and hope i don't break it (it's plastic). if this doesnt work i think i just need to get a known working 800k drive and swap it out. i have one but it seems to be in worse shape than my original.
