FYI, If you look carefully, the XLerator 12.5 (and 18) PCB board has
an unused area for a "DAC option". AFAIK, this option never surfaced
in the wild. Back then I was told (by Sam at DAFAX) that getting the
DAC working was not as high of a priority as other requests at the
time.
