I don't have any .dc42, they are all either ".img" or ".image"; and I do change the filter in the dialog so as to allow me to select one of the diskimages. Once having done so, I click the "OK" button (or whatever the button is labeled) and that's when I get the OS X dialog about not being able to load that image.
I don't think ".img" files survive being emailed in their native format so I am stuffing one to send you; it is of course unstuffed on my end when I try to use it! This specific one works fine in the old version of LisaEm and gets as far as attempting to install LisaOffice to the ProFile HD.
