Thanks for the reply Chuck,

I'm pretty sure the yoke is still where it should be at this point. The alignment of my screen is correct on three sides... it's just the top edge that drops toward the left-hand side.
I think I'll stuff up the remaining three sides if I shift the yoke. I'm fairly sure that this alignment has to be tweaked with the little flat bits of magnetic material that are stuck onto prongs around the front edge of the yoke/field windings.
I've been very apprehensive about putting anything more than a plastic rod near the back of the tube when it has been on and have not been able to upset the image much by prodding the magnets. I'm sort of trying to figure out if those magnets are the correct adjustment for the problem this screen has.

I do like the idea of degaussing the screen, that would probably be the wise thing to do before upsetting the other factory adjustments. The next problem is; how can one go about having this done? I'm happy to pop the screen out and take it somewhere if it can be done. Do TV repair ppl do this sort of thing?
Or is it possibly an option in the Lisa setup somewhere. I haven't yet played with the software much apart from confirming that the computer boots and can run MacWrite and MacPaint.

Any further info on these things is much appreciated of course :)

It sounds as if my mouse may just be worn down, though it would need a good 3 mm on the feet to stop rocking. I'll keep an eye out for a replacement. I don't suppose anyone knows if the casing of an old Mac mouse is identical to the Lisa one? I could probably find one of those somewhere in this town.
