Yes, I have tried holding down the option key, but it does not seem to work.
However I have a broken keyboard (that was given to me) with many dead keys, I am waiting for a fully usable keyboard to arrive soon. I do believe that the left option key is functional thought, but it still does not seem to change anything with regards to the SCSI crash.

Also the drive is fully terminated.
