Also when you write these, it works best to use an older mac running system 6. Try to find 800k or true single sided floppies: 1.44 meg floppies are written with a less powerful magnetic field then the 800k and 400k disks. You can actually damage the media. Not to say that it won't work.. I've had mixed results. But if you want to increase the chances that the image will write properly, use a lower density disk.
