perhaps you didn't read a mail in the LisaList two days ago. So you wrote:

Do NOT do it with OS 9.2
Use OS 4.1 or 5.1 or 6.03 or sth. like that to format your drive. Use a Mac Plus or sth. like that, when doing so. THEN you will have no problems, when connecting it to a Lisa running Mac OS

You will have to mount your HD now with FWB Toolkit. It will be easier to reformat the Disk again with OS 4 to 6, although it could be a termination problem with the portable, too - not only a software problem due to the FWB driver
